We stayed here for one night because it’s like a mini vacation for the kids - was also the cheapest hotel on a long weekend. We were not at all disappointed. The service was friendly and accommodating, the room was large and clean, the pool perfect, the hot tub was hot, the pool towels were soft. The complementary coffee was a nice morning treat. We didn’t go into it, but the games room looked full of fun things to do. Very happy!
We stayed for 5 nights with 2 kids. We were pleasantly surprised upon checkin to find out we had been upgraded to a suite. It was a really nice room and beneficial to put the kids to bed in the bedroom and stay up to watch tv in the living room. We found the room to be quiet and the bathroom was huge with a separate shower and tub. The kids loved the pool and waterslide which was a nice way to end our evenings.
Perfect Family Stay at Canalta Hotel Airdrie We loved our stay at the Canalta Hotel in Airdrie! Our spacious king-size room was perfect for the family. The waterslide and arcade area kept the kids entertained, and you can even borrow board games from the front desk. Towels were always plentiful, which made things easy. A great bonus is Smitty’s restaurant, which is conveniently attached, and staying at the hotel includes coupons for a free adults breakfast from the “ breakfast” — which is a special breakfast option for hotel users! Hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage and toast or a pancake and a free coffee or tea!! All for free and kids menu options ate 8.99$ so much better than waffles! The only minor issue was housekeeping; our garbage wasn’t emptied while we were out, but staff promptly took care of it when asked. We have stayed in Airdrie every summer and pretty much at every hotel there over the last 10 years hands-down this will be the hotel we go back to the room was really spacious and made a better stay for our family!
This was our first experience with Canalta and the hotel disappoint. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Airdrie.
We had a stay for 4 nights. Really liked the hospitality. Front desk was always opened. Somebody was always there to help even if it was midnight. Even as a vegan, there were breakfast options at smitty’s as a complementary breakfast. Had a great experience in a swimming pool as well. Overall, it was a satisfied stay at Canalta.
What a great stay! Room had a full kitchen, fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The rooms are clean and the staff are all quite friendly. I definitely recommend you stay here when in Airdrie.
Great location. Mattress was uncomfortable. Rooms are spacious and Breakfast is a lie. There is no free breakfast and they only give two coupons even if 4 people stayed there. My floor was very busy and noisy. The price was a bit more may be we booked at last minute.
I recently stayed at Canalta Hotel Airdrie and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable perfect for a relaxing night’s sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Highly recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness, and hospitality!
